浦东新场古镇西北地块综合体位于新场古镇外围的西北侧,根据设计要求,该地块将成为古镇西北方向主要的古镇景区出入口,而设计方案则进一步提出,该项目除了应当成为旅游接待中心之外,还应成为古镇的社区中心与文化中心,以便融汇丰富的旅游资源,吸纳多元的城市活动,构筑新兴的文化地标。


建筑的总体布局根据城市肌理的网络原则进行设计,将建筑内部的功能流线与古镇的街巷空间衔接起来,使之成为同质基因的再生关系。在建筑空间形式方面,方案设计在认真研究现有民居的基础上,通过抽象操作,提取基本的双坡空心体量,在此基础上,采用街巷、庭院、广场、走廊进行串接,构筑整体,使得西北地块综合体建筑既是一座兼具传统风貌与现代功能的综合体建筑,同时也能够在运行机制上模拟古镇肌理的构造原则,形成同质性的对接关系,促进新建筑与旧环境能够完美地融合到一起。

The northwest block complex of Xinchang Ancient Town in Pudong is located on the northwest side of the periphery of Xinchang Ancient Town. According to the design requirements, the block will become the main entrance of the ancient town scenic spot in the northwest direction of the ancient town. The design proposal further proposes that in addition to becoming a tourist reception center, the project should also become the community center and cultural center of the ancient town, in order to integrate rich tourism resources, absorb diverse urban activities, and build up new cultural landmarks.

The overall layout of the building is designed according to the network principle of the urban texture, linking the functional streamline of the building with the street space of the ancient town, and making it the regeneration relationship of the homogenous gene. In terms of architectural space form, the scheme design is based on the careful study of existing residential buildings, and the basic double-slope hollow mass is extracted through abstract operations. On this basis, the streets, courtyards, plazas and corridors are connected in series to construct the whole part. The northwest block complex is a complex building with both traditional features and modern functions. It can also simulate the structural principles of ancient town texture on the operational mechanism, forming a homogenous docking relationship that promotes the perfect integration of new and old environments.
